¡Mi primera Feria!

¡Hola a todos!

Hoy no subiré otra creación de Fimo o fieltro sino que os voy a aburrir contándoos como fue la experiencia de montar un tenderete en una feria....

Primero he de confesar que me pasé casi dos meses de los nervios, haciendo cosas sin parar preparándome para el evento sin tener idea de como sería...

Los días de antes estuve ultimando detalle como: Haciendo bolsitas de origami, colocando las etiquetas de los precios, comprando un mantel e incluso montando el tenderete en casa para ver como quedaba (menos mal que monté la prueba por que el día de la feria llegamos un pelín justos de tiempo y no me habría dado tiempo a colocarlo todo por primera vez). Y el día de antes también lo pase cocinando magdalenas como si el universo se fuera a acabar. Me quedé sin recipientes para transportarlas...

Pues bien, llegamos al lugar, y doy gracias a los que me ayudaron a hacer la mudanza! (digo mudanza porque hubo que llevar un montón de cosas...) y allí monté el chiringuito con un mínimo espacio para dejar todas las cajas que había llevado. Menos mal que según sacaba cosas iba liberando espacio y al final hasta tuve sitio para meter un par de sillas ^^

La feria fue de 13:00 a 17:00, 4 horas de venta casi ininterrumpida!!! Bieeen!! Todo un éxito ^_^ Apenas me dio tiempo a comerme un perrito caliente jeje.... Aunque hubo tiempo para socializar con los tenderetes vecinos :)

Lo pasé en grande y me gustaría agradecer a mi hermana su ayuda en la venta de magdalenas, se vendieron todas, un éxito rotundo!! Aunque me olvidé de sacar 6 que nos comimos luego para merendar jijiji...  Ya sabía yo que se me iba a olvidar algo con tantos paquetes...

Fue toda una experiencia. He de reconocer que hubo momentos en los que dudaba que la gente quisiera comprar mis creaciones, la inseguridad del artista imagino... pero cuando vi como se vendían las cositas que había hecho con mimo y cuidado me dio mucha alegría. Especialmente cuando una niña me dijo que mi tenderete era el mejor de la feria. Me abrumó. Muchas gracias a todos los que compraron por darme esta oportunidad.

Hi everyone!!

Today I won't post anything about felt or Fimo. Instead I will bore you with my first experience at a crafts fair...

In first place I must confess I spent the previous months sooo nervous, craft-making and preparing for the unknown  event...

A few days before the fair I spent my time taking care of the final details such as: making origami bags, making price tags, buying a cute tablecloth and even setting up the stall at home as practice (this appeared to be a great idea as we arrived just in time to set up everything and had no spare time the day of the fair). The day before I also baked cupcakes as if the world was coming to an end. I ran out of containers to carry them to the fair....

So, we finally got there... Thanks a lot to those who helped me moving all the boxes and bags and table and chairs... I took so many things and had such a little space behind the table to set up the stall that I had to work in a tiny space but as things got set up I finally had space for a couple of chairs ^_^

The fair took place from 13:00 to 17:00, 4 hours of practically non-stop sale!! Yay!! It was such a success I barely had time to om nom nom a hotdog hehe... Although we had some time to talk to our neighbours ;)

I had such a great time :) I would like to thank my sister who helped me with the cupcake corner. We sold all of them!! Although I forgot to get out six of them which we ate for tea hehehe... I knew I was going to forget something with so many bags and boxes laying around.

It was an awesome experience. I must admit there were times when I doubted people would buy my crafts, the artist's insecurity I imagine... but when I saw how everything I had made with care was selling out it filled me with joy. Specially when a girl came up to me and told me I had the best stall in the fair. I felt overwhelmed. Thank you everyone who bought something for giving me this opportunity.
