Funda para ebook

¡¡Al fin he hecho una cosa verdaderamente útil!! A parte de los llaveros claro (una fresa gigante siempre resulta fácil de buscar en el bolso...)

He hecho una funda para mi ebook :) Para que os hagáis una idea, el tamaño del ebook es de 11,5cm x 16cm .

Estos días que no hace mucho calor voy al parque con Moncho y me tumbo en las hamacas o me siento en un banco a leer mi ebook y se está genial!! Hay que aprovechar antes de que llegue el fresco y no se pueda estar en la calle (yo soy muy friolera y lo paso mal a poco frio que haga aunque siempre puedo ir con bufanda gorro y guantes ;) !!).

At last I’ve made something useful!! Hurraaa!! Apart from the keychains (a huge strawberry is always easy to find in a handbag)

I’ve made an ebook cover :) The size is 11,5cm x 16cm

These days in which the weather is not excessively hot (warm sounds to mild for the temperatures we get here – sometimes more than 40ºC -) I love to go with Moncho to the park and lay down on a hammock under the trees to read my ebook. It is such a pleasure! I must make the most of these last days of summer before it is to cold to read outside (I am very cold-sensitive and I feel cold easily. However, I can always wear a scarf, hat and gloves!)

 

¡Al rico menta-poleo!

Al fin he vuelto!! He vuelto de las vacaciones (que han sido cortas y se me han pasado volando) y he vuelto a la costura. Esta es una de las cosillas que he hecho, 3 bolsitas de té. El relleno es el que uso siempre pero la verdad es que habrían quedado mejor con hierbas aromáticas.

Finally I’m back!! Back from vacations (which have been really short -1 week-), and back to feltcrafting. This is one of the things I’ve done, 3 tea bags. The filling is the same filling I always use but the truth is that it would have been better if I had used some aromatic leaves.

Nuevo broche: Flor

Al fin compré botones de colores para incluirlos en los broches y en todo lo que se me ocurra! Esta es mi última creación. He hecho además otra flor algo más grande pero no se si acabarla como accesorio para el pelo... aún lo estoy pensando...

At last I bought buttons in different colours to include them in brooches and in everything I can think of! This is my last craft. I’ve also made another flower, a bit larger, but I don’t know if I’ll use it as a hair accessory... I’m still thinking what to do...

As you shall imagine we’ve adopted a dog!! He is specifically a podenco. We finally adopted him on Friday after visiting him for 3 weeks (we went each day to give him a walk). I copy the links to the animal shelter:

¡Colección de broches!

Como he visto que he hecho un monton de broches, he decidido dedicarles esta entrada a ellos. He incluido también el del limón que hice el otro día.

A ver si logro tener algo de tiempo para coser alguna cosilla más. ;)

I've seen I've made quite a lot of brooches so I've decided to focus on them in this post. I've also included the lemon brooch I made the other day.

Flores de fieltro

Unas florecillas... con fieltro de colores.

Son muy sencillas de hacer, solo necesitas cortar un círculo de fieltro, doblarlo por la mitad y enrrollarlo al gusto. Con un poco de pegamento lo fijamos en su sitio y listo, ya tienes una flor. Yo he aprovechado para ponerle unos alfileres decorativos y un palito a modo de tallo.

Estas semanas voy a estar un poco liada así que actualizaré el blog una vez a la semana :( Lo siento pero prometo no dejaros!

Some very colourful felt flowers.

They are very easy to do, you only need tu cut a felt circle, fold it in half and roll it as much as you like. Stick to place with a drop of glue and there you go! A flower!! I've used some pins and thin wooden sticks to add some realistic retouches.

By the way, these few weeks I will be a bit busy so I will try to update my blog once a week :( I am very sorry but I promise not to leave you!

¡Broches nuevos!

¡¡Broches para el verano!! Alegres y coloridos :)

El broche-sandía seguro que os suena del tutorial que colgué la semana pasada sin embargo el de la magdalena es de hoy mismo ;). He aprovechado retales pequeños que tenía por ahí pululando y me he puesto a crear. En este caso sin patrones, para ver que salía.

Para aquellos que os preguntéis porque no cuelgo patrones o porque nunca doy medidas es sencillamente porque no las utilizo. Es verdad que tengo patrones como el de las fresitas que los uso un montón pero luego hay muchas cosas que las he hecho sin patrones y por eso no puedo enseñarlos.

Os animo a que seáis vosotros los que copieis a partir de mis fotos, o que experimentéis con vuestros propios patrones, que os equivoquéis, y sobre todo, que lo paséis en grande creando ;)

Porque ante todo esto es un hobby, y los hobbies hay que disfrutarlos.

Summer broochs!! bright and colourful :)


I'm sure you will remember the watermelon-brooch tutorial I uploaded last week but I made the muffin today ;). I've made the most of the scraps of felt I had left from previous creations and I decided to make something new. In this case I din't even use paper patterns.


for those who ask why I don't upload pictires of my patterns or why I never give details about measurements, it is simply because most of the time, I don't use them. It is true that there are patterns I've used loads of times, like the strawberry pattern but then there are lots of things that I've crafted without patterns and that is why I cannot show or explain them.


I encourage you to copy my creations from my photos, or that you experiment with your ogn patterns, I encourage you to make mistakes, and specially to have a great time creating with felt.


Bechause this is, above all, a hobby; and hobbies must be enjoyed.

Siii, ya lo seeee, mucha zanahoria para tan poca cobaya....

He de decir a mi favor que debe tener un pinta muy apetitosa porque la pequeña Mina se ha acercado a olerla cuando se la he puesto al lado jejeje.

La verdad es que es muy sencilla de hacer, si hago otra prometo hacer un tutorial para enseñaros ;)

Por cierto, como ya he dicho por twitter, siento mucho no haber publicado nada el jueves ni el viernes pero he estado de viaje y no he tenido tiempo para crear :(

Yeeees, I knoooow, that's a very big carrot for such a small guinea pig….

I must say that the carrot looks really tempting because our little Mina went to smell it when I placed it beside her lol.

It is very easy to do, if I make another one, I promise I will make a tutorial video to show you ;)

By the way, as I've alredy said in twitter (@fieltrolandia), I am very sorry for not posting anything on thursday nor friday but I've been travelling and I haven't had time to create :(
