¡Mi primer encargo! : Una manzana

¡Hola de nuevo!,

Hoy quería hablar de algo que me ha hecho muy feliz,...... mi primer encargo! 

Hace unas semanas recibi un email preguntando si podría hacer una manzana verde como colgante para el retrovisor de un coche. Me ilusionó mucho que una presona confiara en mi para hacer algo que no había visto en mi blog sino que era algo nuevo.

Me encantó como me salió la manzanita y esa calidad creo que es la mejor recompensa para la persona que depositó en mi su confianza. ¡¡Espero que la disfrute durante mucho tiempo!!

De nuevo aprovecho para agradecerle esta oportunidad y espero que se cumplieran sus espectativas.

I want to write today about something that has made me very happy,..... I've dispatched my first order!


A few weeks ago I received an email asking if I could make a green apple to be used as a rear-view mirror decoration. I was so excited and happy, specially because someone was trusting me to make something that I had not posted on my blog. This was my first order!!


I loved how the apple came out and I believe that the quality of the product is the best reward for the person who believed in me. I hope she enjoys her purchase for a long time!!


Once again I would like to thank her for this opportunity and I hope it met her expectations.

¡Bastones de caramelo!

¡¡Qué pinta tienen estos bastoncitos de caramelo!! Y además son muy navideños :). No son muy grandes como podréis ver en la foto pero tienen el tamaño exacto para ser un charm o un colgante para el móvil.

Lo bueno es que se pueden hacer tan grandes como un llavero o tan pequeños como unos pendientes.

Si alguien quiere comprar uno, dejaré los tamaños y precios en la página de "mi tienda".

These fimo candy canes look so yummy!! It feels like Christmas :). They are not too big as you may see in the picture but the've got the right size if you want to use them as a cell phone charm.

The good thing is that you can make them in all sizes, as big as a keychain or as small as a pair of earrings.

In case anyone wants to buy one, I will leave the list of prizes and sizes on the page "mi tienda" (my shop).

Otro dulce para los más golosos! Unos bombones de Fimo que he preparado como colgantes para el móvil. Es bastante divertido hacer bombones porque parecen muy reales. De hecho, he preparado bastantes bombones pero aún tengo que sacarles fotos antes de colgarlos.

Another sweet for chocolate lovers! Some Fimo chocolates that I've prepared as phone charms. It's quite fun to make chocolates because they look very real. I've actually made quite a few but I still have to make some photos so I can post them.

Mmm... rosquillas...

Estas son pequeñitas así que las he aprovechado para hacer unos pendientes. La parte de arriba es azul brillante porque les he puesto esmalte de uñas nacarado. ¡Me encantan!

More muffins!

These muffins came out quite small so I used them to make a pair of earrings. The top part is shiny because I added some pearl nail polish to make them more attractive. Plain blue was too simple. I love them!

Nubes ^^ (Marshmallows!!)

Hace tiempo que no actualizo, pero no porque no tenga cosas hechas sino porque no he tenido tiempo de sentarme a escribir. ¡Qué vida más ajetreada! Sobre todo ahora que se acerca Navidad ^^. Está haciendo un tiempo muy soleado para ser Diciembre. Ya tenía ganas de ver el sol despues de Noviembre y Octubre donde ha hecho un tiempo muy malo :(

En fin, que me distraigo! Bueno, pues hoy os traigo unas dulces nubes de Fimo!!! Parecen deliciosas y son geniales como colgador de móvil o pendientes!! Espero que os gusten!!

It's been a while since I updated my blog, not because I have nothing made but because I haven't had time to sit down and write. What a busy life! Specially now that Christmas is getting nearer ^^. The weather is very sunny even though we are in December. I wanted to see the sun again after the horrible weather we've had in the past two months :(

Any way, I'm rambling... I bring to you today some sweet marshmallows!! They look delicious and they are great as cell phone charms or as earrings! I hope you like them ^^

Es dulce dulce pero mejor no morderla para no rompernos los dientes. Jejejeje. No digo más, solo que es bastante grande (de unos  4cm de diámetro) y sería genial para usarla como colgante en un collar.

I looks quite sweet but it would be better if we didn’t bite it if we want to keep our teeth, lol. What more can I say, it is quite big (about 4cm in diameter) and would be great as a pendant.

¡Dulces de Fimo!

 

Estos dulces de Fimo los he hecho haciendo primero una espiral de Fimo en forma de churro que luego he cortado para hacer los dulces. Esta vez sí que se nota (al menos un poco) que he utilizado Fimo translúcido (viva!!!). Menos mal porque casi iba a tirar la toalla. No han quedado tan transparentes como yo quería pero parecen unos apetitosos tofes ^^.

I’ve made these Fimo sweets by doing a spiral and then shaping it into a strip which I’ve then cut in slices to make the sweets. You can now see (at least a bit) that I’ve used translucent Fimo (yay!!). At last! I was about to give up. They don’t look as transparent as I wanted but they look like delicious toffees ^^.

Una manzana

Una manzana. Así sin más.

Se podría usar como colgante de móvil, en una pulsera o como colgante para un collar. La verdad es que salió muy bien, incluso el rabito y la hoja están muy logrados.

Os contaré un secreto acerca de esta manzana :o . Para hacer el cuerpo de la manzana mezclé Fimo rojo y traslúcido y cuando lo metí al horno estaba muy contenta porque si todo salía bien me iba a quedar una manzana roja pero transparente muy chula. Al final resulto que puse demasiado Fimo rojo y no quedó ni rastro del Fimo traslúcido XD. Supongo que son errores de principiante ^^.

An Apple. Period.

You could use it as a cell phone charm, a bracelet charm or a pendant for a necklace. The truth is it came out quite nicely, even the stem and the leaf look really good.

I will tell you a secret about this apple :o . In order to make the apple body, I mixed red and translucent Fimo and when I placed it in the oven I was very happy happy thinking that, if everything came out right, I would get a very cool red but translucent apple. In the end what happened is that I added to much red Fimo and there was not a trace of the translucent Fimo *LOL*. I guess that was a beginners mistake ^^.
