Otra vez experimentando!! Esta vez decorando alfileres. Me puse a practicar el hacer florecillas con trocitos sueltos de fieltro que tenía por ahí. La verdad es que no quedaron mal aunque Mina no parece muy convencida, parece que que si no se puede comer, no le hace mucha gracia.

Experimenting once more!!! This time I've been decorating pins. I started practicing making flowers with felt scraps I had hanging around. The truth is they don't look too bad although Mina doesn't look too convinced. It seems that if she can't eat it, she does not fancy it.

En este caso, como la caja era en tonos marrones decidí forrar únicamente la tapadera y le añadí unas bolitas de nata en 2 colores y una fresa en el centro. Si hacéis clic en la foto inferior podréis ver mejor los detalles ya que al reducirla de tamaño se pierde bastante definición.¡¡Qué buena pinta tieneee!! ^o^

This is the second cake-box I make. I hope you like it!
In this case, because the box had brown tones, I decided to cover only the top and added some cream puffs in 2 colours and a strawberry. If you click on the lower picture you will be able to appreciate the details (in such a small size you loose quite a lot of definition)
It looks so yum-yum!! ^o^
Hoy toca hablar de cosas amorosas así que os pongo una tierna foto de mi pequeña mascota, Mina, mi cobaya suave y...comilona!!
Le encanta el pimiento y se vuelve loca por las mandarinas. Cuando escucha la puerta del frigorífico o el sonido de las bolsas pide a gritos estas cositas. También come su pienso y su heno pero lo que más le gusta son las verduritas frescas. Últimamente le ha dado por saltar de un lado a otro pero no es muy ágil así que hay que andar con cuidado.
En la próxima entrada prometo seguir con el fieltro; es que no me he podido resistir!

Today it is the day to talk about lovable things and I am therefore posting a photo of my small pet Mina, my guinea pig, soft and... fat!!!
She loves peppers and she is crazy for tangerines. When she hears the fridge's door or the sound of plastic bags she shouts out for sweets. She also eats pellets and lots of hay but what she loves best is fresh vegetables. Lately, she is obsessed with junping around but she's not very agile so we have to be careful.
On the next post I promise I will talk about felt; I simply couldn't resist to mention my guinea pig!!

I bring to you today a gigantinormous strawberry. I hope you like it!! It is a plushie of about the size of an opened hand (not that big really but compared to the strawberries I posted the other day it is quite big ^^). I will try to make some other large plushies later on. Another fruit for example... I will leave it as a future project...

It is a cross stitch bookmark with my initial on one side and some flowers on the other and impecably finished.

Os presento mi primer experimento caja-tarta; ya irán llegando más.En este caso forré la caja con fieltro blanco y a la tapa le añadí una fresa, una bolita de nata un barquillo en tubito y un pequeño dulce en espiral y...¡lista para rellenar! (que no para comer...¡¡golosos!!). Me encanta porque son cajas muy decorativas (ya os iré enseñando más) y muy útiles para esconder esas cosas que no sabes donde guardar y que siempre están por medio como los clips, gomas, pinzas, caramelos...

I bring to you my first cake-box experiment. There are more on its way. In this case I covered the box with white felt and added a strawberry, some cream, a wafer tube and a small chocolate spiral to the top. Now it is ready to be filled up!! (but not ready to eat you sweet-lovers!)
I love it because they are very decorative boxes (I will show you a couple more...) and very helpful to hide those things that you don't know where to keep and are always lying around, like clips, hairbands, sweets...
