¡Mi primer encargo! : Una manzana

¡Hola de nuevo!,

Hoy quería hablar de algo que me ha hecho muy feliz,...... mi primer encargo! 

Hace unas semanas recibi un email preguntando si podría hacer una manzana verde como colgante para el retrovisor de un coche. Me ilusionó mucho que una presona confiara en mi para hacer algo que no había visto en mi blog sino que era algo nuevo.

Me encantó como me salió la manzanita y esa calidad creo que es la mejor recompensa para la persona que depositó en mi su confianza. ¡¡Espero que la disfrute durante mucho tiempo!!

De nuevo aprovecho para agradecerle esta oportunidad y espero que se cumplieran sus espectativas.

I want to write today about something that has made me very happy,..... I've dispatched my first order!


A few weeks ago I received an email asking if I could make a green apple to be used as a rear-view mirror decoration. I was so excited and happy, specially because someone was trusting me to make something that I had not posted on my blog. This was my first order!!


I loved how the apple came out and I believe that the quality of the product is the best reward for the person who believed in me. I hope she enjoys her purchase for a long time!!


Once again I would like to thank her for this opportunity and I hope it met her expectations.

¡Bastones de caramelo!

¡¡Qué pinta tienen estos bastoncitos de caramelo!! Y además son muy navideños :). No son muy grandes como podréis ver en la foto pero tienen el tamaño exacto para ser un charm o un colgante para el móvil.

Lo bueno es que se pueden hacer tan grandes como un llavero o tan pequeños como unos pendientes.

Si alguien quiere comprar uno, dejaré los tamaños y precios en la página de "mi tienda".

These fimo candy canes look so yummy!! It feels like Christmas :). They are not too big as you may see in the picture but the've got the right size if you want to use them as a cell phone charm.

The good thing is that you can make them in all sizes, as big as a keychain or as small as a pair of earrings.

Otro dulce para los más golosos! Unos bombones de Fimo que he preparado como colgantes para el móvil. Es bastante divertido hacer bombones porque parecen muy reales. De hecho, he preparado bastantes bombones pero aún tengo que sacarles fotos antes de colgarlos.

Another sweet for chocolate lovers! Some Fimo chocolates that I've prepared as phone charms. It's quite fun to make chocolates because they look very real. I've actually made quite a few but I still have to make some photos so I can post them.

Estas son pequeñitas así que las he aprovechado para hacer unos pendientes. La parte de arriba es azul brillante porque les he puesto esmalte de uñas nacarado. ¡Me encantan!

More muffins!

These muffins came out quite small so I used them to make a pair of earrings. The top part is shiny because I added some pearl nail polish to make them more attractive. Plain blue was too simple. I love them!

Nubes ^^ (Marshmallows!!)

Hace tiempo que no actualizo, pero no porque no tenga cosas hechas sino porque no he tenido tiempo de sentarme a escribir. ¡Qué vida más ajetreada! Sobre todo ahora que se acerca Navidad ^^. Está haciendo un tiempo muy soleado para ser Diciembre. Ya tenía ganas de ver el sol despues de Noviembre y Octubre donde ha hecho un tiempo muy malo :(

En fin, que me distraigo! Bueno, pues hoy os traigo unas dulces nubes de Fimo!!! Parecen deliciosas y son geniales como colgador de móvil o pendientes!! Espero que os gusten!!

It's been a while since I updated my blog, not because I have nothing made but because I haven't had time to sit down and write. What a busy life! Specially now that Christmas is getting nearer ^^. The weather is very sunny even though we are in December. I wanted to see the sun again after the horrible weather we've had in the past two months :(

Any way, I'm rambling... I bring to you today some sweet marshmallows!! They look delicious and they are great as cell phone charms or as earrings! I hope you like them ^^

Es dulce dulce pero mejor no morderla para no rompernos los dientes. Jejejeje. No digo más, solo que es bastante grande (de unos  4cm de diámetro) y sería genial para usarla como colgante en un collar.

I looks quite sweet but it would be better if we didn’t bite it if we want to keep our teeth, lol. What more can I say, it is quite big (about 4cm in diameter) and would be great as a pendant.

¡Dulces de Fimo!

 

Estos dulces de Fimo los he hecho haciendo primero una espiral de Fimo en forma de churro que luego he cortado para hacer los dulces. Esta vez sí que se nota (al menos un poco) que he utilizado Fimo translúcido (viva!!!). Menos mal porque casi iba a tirar la toalla. No han quedado tan transparentes como yo quería pero parecen unos apetitosos tofes ^^.

I’ve made these Fimo sweets by doing a spiral and then shaping it into a strip which I’ve then cut in slices to make the sweets. You can now see (at least a bit) that I’ve used translucent Fimo (yay!!). At last! I was about to give up. They don’t look as transparent as I wanted but they look like delicious toffees ^^.

Una manzana

Una manzana. Así sin más.

Se podría usar como colgante de móvil, en una pulsera o como colgante para un collar. La verdad es que salió muy bien, incluso el rabito y la hoja están muy logrados.

Os contaré un secreto acerca de esta manzana :o . Para hacer el cuerpo de la manzana mezclé Fimo rojo y traslúcido y cuando lo metí al horno estaba muy contenta porque si todo salía bien me iba a quedar una manzana roja pero transparente muy chula. Al final resulto que puse demasiado Fimo rojo y no quedó ni rastro del Fimo traslúcido XD. Supongo que son errores de principiante ^^.

An Apple. Period.

You could use it as a cell phone charm, a bracelet charm or a pendant for a necklace. The truth is it came out quite nicely, even the stem and the leaf look really good.

I will tell you a secret about this apple :o . In order to make the apple body, I mixed red and translucent Fimo and when I placed it in the oven I was very happy happy thinking that, if everything came out right, I would get a very cool red but translucent apple. In the end what happened is that I added to much red Fimo and there was not a trace of the translucent Fimo *LOL*. I guess that was a beginners mistake ^^.

Magdalenas... de Fimo

¡¡Buenas tardes!!

He colgado una foto de unas pequeñas magdalenas de Fimo. Las he hecho haciendo primero un churrito con los colores que me interesaban (haré próximamente un tutorial para que veáis como se hacen estos churritos para que los colores salgan homogéneos). Luego he colocado el churrito en espiral encima de la base de la magdalena. Se pueden usar para colgar en el móvil o como colgantes pero en este caso son un poco grandes para usarlas como pendientes.

Recordad que el Fimo que utilizo es del tipo Fimo Soft por si alguien siente curiosidad ;).

Good afternoon!!

Today I’ve uploaded a picture of some Fimo muffins. First, I’ve made the top part by rolling out a thin strip with different colours (I will make a tutorial video showing how to make these strips so you can learn how to obtain homogeneous colours). I’ve then placed the stip in a spiral shape on top of the muffin base. You can use them as cell phone charms or as pendants but they are a bit big to be used as earrings.

Remember that the Fimo I use is Fimo Soft in case anyone wanted to know ;)

¡De viaje por Europa!

No, no nos hemos vuelto locos! ;) Esta mañana hemos ido a un parque repleto de réplicas de monumentos famosos y Moncho se lo ha pasado genial. En tan solo un ratito hemos viajado a Dinamarca, Londres, Portugal, Italia, Alemania, Bruselas, Paris....

Lo hemos pasado en grande a pesar de que estaba lloviendo y hemos sacado unas cuantas fotos, entre ellas las que os traigo aquí. 

 


En este parque había además un parque para perros en el que Moncho estuvo correteando feliz sin la correa!! Grabé un video que intentaré subir un día para que le podáis ver feliz jugando y corriendo^^


¡Un día de lluvia puede ser tan divertido!

No, we haven't gone crazy! ;) This morning we went to a park full of  famous monument replicas (slightly smaller that the real ones) and Moncho had a great time. In only a couple of hours we travelled to Denmark, London, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Brussels, Paris....

We had a great time even though it was raining and we even took a few photos, some of which I've uploaded here.

 







In this park there was also a dog park in which Moncho ran happily without his leash!! I took a video which I will upload to my youtube channel so you can see him playing and running happily^^


A rainy day can be fun!

Calabazas de Halloween

 

¡Al fin, esta noche es Halloween!

¡¡Os presento a las calabacitas de Fimo!! Son geniales como colgantes. Y se les podría pintar una carita si se quisiera. Como todos los años las tiendas venden un montón de chuches y caramelos y muchas tiendas han sacado a la venta los disfraces de bruja, fantasma, vampiro…. Y en la tele están poniendo pelis de halloween también.

¿Pero, sabéis lo mejor? Esto quiere decir que Navidad está a la vuelta de la esquina, ¡¡Yupiiiiiii!!

At last! Tonight is Halloween!

I present to you my Fimo pumpkins!! They look great like pendants. And you could even paint a face on them if you wished. As all years, shops are selling sweets and costumes of all types (ghost, vampire, witch...)... And on the TV they are showing lots of Halloween movies as well.

But you know what is the best thing? This means that Christmas is around the corner, Yay!!!

Hoy os traigo una noticia, no, no voy a subir nada nuevo, vengo a hablaros de…¡Mi tienda!

Como podréis ver he abierto una nueva pestaña en mi blog, “Mi tienda”. Ahora mismo no hay ningún producto en venta pero poco a poco iré subiendo los objetos que tengo a la venta. Indicaré los precios y los tamaños y de momento solo voy a vender a conocidos ya que tengo que buscar una buena forma de enviar los productos ya que mirando por lo alto he visto que casi sale más caro el envío que el producto en sí. Mi intención sería en algún momento vender a España entera pero hasta que no encuentre el modo de envío me temo que venderé a nivel local. Por favor, si conocierais métodos rentables de envío agradecería que me los propusierais (fieltrolandia@gmail.com).

Today I won’t post one of my creations. I only wanted to mention...My shop!

As you might have noticed, there is a new tab on my blog, “Mi tienda” (My shop). Right now there are no products on sale but little by little I will upload pictures of the items and I will indicate prizes and sizes. I will only sell to friends and family on a local scale whilst I find an optimum way of shipping items because I’ve seen that the shipping may cost more than the item sold depending on the shipping mode. Mi intention it to be able to sell to the whole of Spain but until then I will sell locally. If someone knew a cheap way of shipping I would appreciate it if you could inform me (fieltrolandia@gmail.com).

Tarta de café

Os presento mi primera creación con Fimo, una tarta de café. Fue lo primero que hice y que llevaba mucho tiempo planeando. La verdad es que no tiene mala pinta. ¡Ñam, ñam! 

Como las porciones son más bién pequeñas, las he usado como colgantes para el móvil.

Mi primer contacto con el Fimo (Fimo soft) resultó ser bastante bueno al final, aunque me pareció más duro que la plastelina o la arcilla. Los colores tardan un pelín en mezclarse pero los colores quedan homogéneos y aunque cambién un poco cuando se hornean se puede controlar con el tiempo de horneado y la temperatura (que aún estoy intentando controlar...).

I present to you my firs Fimo creation, a coffee cake. It was the firt thing I did with Fimo and I had it planned for a very long time. The truth is it doen't look bad at all. Om nom nom!!

Because the portions are quite small, I've used them as cell phone charms.

My first contact with Fimo (Fimo soft) was quite good in the end; even though it felt harder to handle than other doughs or clays. Colours take a bit long to mix but with a bit of patience the colours end up bright and homogeneous. Even though colours change in the oven, this can be controlled by varying the time left in the oven and the temperature (I am still working on this...).

Halloween parece tan cercano que he decidido subir esta foto. La encontré el otro día y me encanta, de hecho la uso de fondo de escritorio.

También aprovecho para comentaros un nuevo proyecto en el que me he metido y del cual iré incluyendo entradas a lo largo de las próximas semanas. Aún tengo pendiente retocar fotos pero bueno, poco a poco todo llegará.

Para que no os quedéis con las ganas os comunico que mis nuevas creaciones estarán echas de…..*redoble de tambores*……..

Halloween feels so close that I’ve decided to upload this photo. I found it the other day and I love it, I actually use it as a wallpaper.

I would also like to use this post to inform you that I’ve started a new project and I will upload posts about it during the nexy few weeks. I still have to retouch some photographs but little by little everything will be ready!

In case you are dying to know what my new crafting project is, I’ll tell you that my new creations will be made out of....*drum roll*...

Funda para ebook

¡¡Al fin he hecho una cosa verdaderamente útil!! A parte de los llaveros claro (una fresa gigante siempre resulta fácil de buscar en el bolso...)

He hecho una funda para mi ebook :) Para que os hagáis una idea, el tamaño del ebook es de 11,5cm x 16cm .

Estos días que no hace mucho calor voy al parque con Moncho y me tumbo en las hamacas o me siento en un banco a leer mi ebook y se está genial!! Hay que aprovechar antes de que llegue el fresco y no se pueda estar en la calle (yo soy muy friolera y lo paso mal a poco frio que haga aunque siempre puedo ir con bufanda gorro y guantes ;) !!).

At last I’ve made something useful!! Hurraaa!! Apart from the keychains (a huge strawberry is always easy to find in a handbag)

I’ve made an ebook cover :) The size is 11,5cm x 16cm

These days in which the weather is not excessively hot (warm sounds to mild for the temperatures we get here – sometimes more than 40ºC -) I love to go with Moncho to the park and lay down on a hammock under the trees to read my ebook. It is such a pleasure! I must make the most of these last days of summer before it is to cold to read outside (I am very cold-sensitive and I feel cold easily. However, I can always wear a scarf, hat and gloves!)
